What is Green Training?
Green training is education in sustainable business - from how to better conserve energy and reduce waste to strategies on implementing a green-conscious work environment to earning an official Green Business Certification.

Where Does Training Occur?
All training is provided on-site, at your place of business, and is adapted to the specific needs of your organization.

Who are the Trainers?
We have partnered with Miriam, a green trainer with over 10 years of experience designing practical strategies that address profound change in organizations and individuals.

Miriam is trained in The Natural Step, Integral Theory, systems thinking, strategic business management and environmental engineering. Since 2006, she has designed sustainable business membership criteria for a $1 billion green village project, assisted organizations in creating green teams and sustainability strategic plans, organized and facilitated sustainability workshops and leadership trainings for change champions in Mexico and the United States, assisted businesses in getting certified by the Bay Area Green Business Program, and spoken at various conferences.

Miriam is currently (2008) writing a chapter in the book “The Idiot’s Guide to Green Business,” published by Penguin Group. She has been an influential facilitator for teams to establish clear, concise sustainability goals and strategic actions to achieve those goals. She holds a Masters in Strategic Leadership Towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden, Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from University of California Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from University of California Santa Cruz.
