METHOD
Throughout the IBP, lecture is kept to a minimum.
The largest portion of the course involves student
practice, drill, and supervised preparation. Practice
sessions are recorded on video and later viewed
in supervised group critique sessions for participants
to evaluate their own performance. Such feedback
provides an outstanding opportunity for learning
and improvement. At the end of the course, participants
may keep their own personal video recording for
further reference and review.
SCHEDULE
The IBP is an intensive course offered in
your choice of 3, 5, or 10 consecutive business
days. The schedule for each day is 9:00 a.m. to
9:00 p.m., with one-hour lunch and one-hour evening
breaks. The last day ends at 6:00 p.m.
LOCATION
For your convenience, the IBP is offered at your
office location in Tokyo, Japan.
PARTICIPANTS
Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 8 participants.
FACULTY
Our IBP instructor has been teaching since 1983
and a resident of Tokyo since 1990. A native English
speaker, he is a licensed educator at the university
and secondary levels, and holds a Masters degree
in English literature and a certificate in TESOL
(Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
Our
instructor is specialized in teaching IBP presentation
courses, listening, and speaking skills to Japanese
business professionals in Western-style work situations.
Past IBP clients include Olympus, Mitsubishi,
Fujitsu, Hitachi, Nippon Roche, Toyota, Nissan,
Shin-Nitetsu, Takeda Pharmaceutical, and Sony.
