What is the Online Lab?
The Online Lab is a web-based program that offers listening, pronunciation, and writing exercises for language practice. You can also submit regular tests and even PowerPoint presentations for personalized feedback from an actual English League teacher, to improve your skills and track progress. Watch a video!

What equipment do I need?
The system requirements are a computer with:
- broadband internet access
- speakers
- microphone

How does the Online Lab work?
The Lab is a combination of software and human input. It includes Practice Pages with words and phrases recorded by native, human speakers. Students can listen to these, then practice their pronunciation by recording and playing back their own speech for comparison. Students can also submit recorded tests and presentations. Our teachers listen to and provide audio and written feedback to these tests and presentations, usually in 1-3 business days.

Who are the teachers?
English League faculty are career professional instructors, native speakers of the language you are learning, each with typically 4-22 years of experience and a Masters or teaching certificate in their specialty. More >

How often are the Practice Pages updated?
New content is added at least once a month.

Can I submit more than one presentation or test per month?
Yes. Special rates apply, depending on quantity. Please contact us to make arrangements for you.

Can I submit longer presentations or tests?
Yes. We can customize the Lab for you. Special rates apply, depending on the length of your presentations or tests. Please contact us to make arrangements for you.

How is billing arranged?
To individual users, we email a monthly invoice, payable online by credit card. For organizations, groups, or corporate accounts, we can arrange special company-wide billing and enrollment options; please contact us.
